2014年 1月 15日 My very best friend’s wedding

Hi!! How are you!! It’s Kazu, a senior advisor, here.

Recently, I’ve many opportunities to go to wedding parties. Four wedding parties were held in a month last year. I visited Sendai last fall. The day before the wedding, a typhoon approached in the Tohoku area, so I was very worried about the wedding. Before the wedding, I had no idea about the ceremony. The wedding vows were exchanged outside, and the weather wasn’t worth worrying about. The bride and groom were really blessed. The wedding was so intimate and great.

At first, I felt weird about the wedding place because the bride and groom work in Tokyo. The wedding could have been held easily in Tokyo. When I heard why they decided to have the wedding taking place in Tohoku, I completelygot the reason. The groom was born in Tohoku n  ear the east coast, and his relatives aare there. That place was damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake. Especially their family was damaged. It was a big thing for the groom’s family to go to Tokyo, so they decided that the wedding should be held in Tohoku. I could feel their happiness, so this made me happy. I felt like their happiness had started a chain reaction.

My friend was the bride. She never cried, and she was always wearing a cute smile naturally. On the other hand, the groom was very emotional. I really had a good time there. That was the best wedding I have ever attended!!

Thank you for reading my story. See you very soon!!
