2014年 1月 21日 Test season for all!

Hello everyone! This is Taro from Toshin Business School.

The big news of the week last week was the National center test that was held for 2days during the weekend.

For those who are not familiar with the National center test, think of it as a Japanese version of SAT! Except with the National center test, you only get to take it once a year. Meaning, if your result wasn’t very satisfying, you would have to wait for another year to take the test and submit the score to universities.

Anyway, what I want to tell you all with this post is that it’s not only the highschoolers that are studying frantically this season. It is also a season of finals with many universities in Japan.

Compared to universities abroad, Japan has a relatively lo;ng spring break so many universities are starting to have their finals around this time of the year.

So it’s no coincidence if you find many students sleeping on the train at this time of the year since most of them stay up pretty late to do some last minute cramming :P(I, as a university student living in Japan is no exception!)

But after the finals awaits the long awaited spring break! If you are a university student reading post, I wish you the best of luck and hope to see you guys here at Toshin Business school soon!
